Full disclosure, I bought the sunglasses. In my defense, these are the kind you find at summer fairs and festivals for free! So I was aiming to help those who wanted to jazz up those sunglasses. But you can also purchase sunglasses and decorate them! I chose these because everyone gave them a great rating on amazon! I am an Amazon affiliate so any qualify purchases made from clicking these links I will receive a small commission, which helps keep this website ad free!

Supplies Needed: Beads, Hot Glue Gun, Hot Glue and Sunglasses. I purchased my beads from the dollar store last year and also from my local Meijer store. The dollar store does have hot glue sticks if you need them, and the craft store definitely has all these items. Below are Amazon links for these items too!

24 Adult Sunglasses
Pony beads
Transparent “crystal” beads
Letter beads – this link will give you lots of different letter bead options, a few were glow in the dark!
Glue Gun – multiple colors available and 9k+ glowing reviews!

I found it easier to lay out my beads ahead of time so I could just grab the next bead. I found that I could only hot glue 1-2 beads at a time because the glue would start to harden and make it harder to form a good connection. In the corners of all the glasses I went for larger beads since I had more space, but you could even do a pair with all the same size bead. That would be fun!

Also after my first one (Here Comes Fun) I decided I didn’t super love beads on the bottom so for the rest I just put beads on the top. It was a preference thing. I’d still make more with beads on the bottom too.

Overall it was a really easy craft and fun! I loved being able to get through some of my bead stash!

Cocktail time, y’all!

Ok we didn’t get crazy with this one and there is no wine involved today. We figured you’d need your sunglasses when getting to brunch and we’d celebrate that with a brunch classic! Yum!
