What’s better than pizza? A cozy that celebrates pizza, of course! In honor of National Pizza Day (February 9), I designed a Fair Isle-style can cozy featuring 12 pizza slices—because one slice is never enough!
About the Pattern
This free downloadable knitting pattern features 12 triangular pizza slices arranged in a fun Fair Isle design, alternating between pointing up and down. At its core, the pattern is just triangles, giving you the creative freedom to customize the toppings however you’d like!
For my cozy, I kept things classic with three pepperonis per slice and a duplicate-stitched crust at the top. But you can get as creative as you want—add olives, mushrooms, extra cheese, or even pineapple (controversial, I know)!
Choosing the Right Colors
To really make the pizza slices stand out, I recommend using a contrasting background color against the yellow you choose for the pizza/cheese. I went with a bright aqua, but shades of green or blue would also be super fun!
