It’s finally the day of the big reveal!! You will see that there are things I didn’t quite go over, or that I don’t have pictures of currently. But I will share my experience with how things are still holding up after 3 years! This post contains some affiliate links and we may receive a small commission if there are any purchases made.

You can see in the above picture the differences between the cabinet colors, new countertops, the new canvas, the new curtains, and some cute pendent flags! The flags were very easy to make if you want to make some yourself! I just cut triangles out of felt and then cut small slits at the top for the string to go through! The big bunk end curtains are fabric from IKEA which I hung using a tension rod (like what you’d find/use for a shower curtain)

You can also see the fleece pillow cases that were a part of the super clearance set I bought from target! The little pillow is one of two that I made using half a bed pillow which I described a how to in an earlier blog post! And that square pillow with the brown and yellow colors is actually a folded up re-purposed sleeping bag! You can make yourself one by following this tutorial! The red plaid fleece at the bottom is just an extra blanket – you never can have enough cozy in a camper! Speaking of, you can also *kind of* see that we have some battery operated twinkle lights hanging with the pendent flag banner, it really adds to the hygge at night!

Here you can get in some good details of the dinette with the newly covered seat cushions, newly covered table, new curtains, and the canvas. I love how we can roll the screens on the canvas so we can decide to have the windows open or just open to let light in, or have them completely closed for privacy!

It really is quite the transformation!

As you can see in the above picture, both bunkends are set up mostly in the same way. You can also see the new LED overhead light we installed. The old light was pretty busted and at this point I don’t even remember if it worked! I was able to get a comforter for one end at the thrift store, and had the comforter for the other end. You can see the twinkle lights a bit better in this picture too! Also that red fleece at the bottom of this bunkend actually has snaps! I’m not sure if I got it right in the picture below but maybe I did?

Sooo I might not have it right, but I can snap myself in it and knit! Haha

We used Command Strip hooks and light curtain rods to hang these curtains over the windows! It’s nice because it helps add some privacy but allows us to keep the windows open for a breeze!

Can you see the thermos’ in the curtains? I love this fabric!
This is Porter Wagoner. My grandma who lives in Florida was trying to get rid of him in a garage sale. She was also trying to get rid of those flowers in the same garage sale. I rescued him and he and Dolly are always together.

Here are some nighttime “in action” pictures to show you how cozy it is, but it’s hard to capture the full effect!

Other honorable mentions that have really helped out in the comfort levels of our camper is we installed anti-fatigue mats inbetween the plywood and the cushion of the bed.

We also needed levelers to help with leveling the camper when we parked it and these came highly recommended and do not disappoint! They also come in a convenient carry bag which I love!

Also while the anti fatigue mats are great we also added a memory foam topper to each end. We kept it as thick as we could and we’re able to leave it in the camper at all times!

Also maybe you can see it in the picture above, but we love to play Yahtzee and we got a National Parks version! This set is great because it comes in a convenient carrying case that doubles as the shaker! And a portion of the proceeds goes to the National Park Foundation.

Thanks for following along friends! I’ll be sure to announce whenever I have a new Camper Monday post on my socials so be sure to follow there! I foresee some Camper Monday posts to involve favorite things to bring when camping, camping recipes, crafts and adventures!
